Redcote Leisure comes to the North West. with Redcote Leisure Clitheroe
We are Rob and Fiona Orrell and we are delighted to have launched Redcote Leisure Clitheroe in Lancashire at the start of 2021.
is in the heart of the Ribble Valley and nestled under the magnificent Pendle Hill, famous for the trial of the Pendle Witches dating back to the 17th century. Why not begin your micro camper journey by exploring Lancashire’s finest countryside and picturesque villages right here on our doorstep or hop over the border to North Yorkshire and visit the breath-taking Ingleton Waterfalls trail or the Limestone pavement at Malham Cove.
The Ribble Valley is also known as the food capital of Lancashire, so do not miss the opportunity to take a trip to one of the many award-winning gastropubs to sample some of Lancashire’s finest fayre.
A bit about us…
With a passion for the great outdoors, we enjoy hiking, swimming, running, cycling and generally being outside in nature as much as possible. We’re keen campers too, and love to get away often with our tent and now in our micro camper. During recent years most of our adventures have been here in the UK with the kids, so adding the convenience of a micro camper has made it quicker and easier to get packed up and just hit the road.
We absolutely love the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and Snowdonia… but there is still so much more to see! In 2018 we walked Alfred Wainwrights Coast 2 Coast path, 192 miles passing through 3 national parks along the route. It was a fantastic way for us to discover those hidden places away from the crowds… our favourite kind of destination.
Our next Micro Camper adventure
Scotland is on the list to visit this year, as we are hoping to do the North Coast 500 in our Citroen Berlingo Multispace Micro Camper We cannot wait to let you know how we get on and share some of the highlights from our trip.
We like to travel light and keep things simple, and the Redcote Leisure Micro Campers come complete with pretty much everything you need. The gas stove with the easily changeable gas cans is a great space-saver, and I (Fiona) am a master at ‘one-pot’ camp cooking!
Why Redcote Leisure?
Converting Micro Campers has been a dream of ours for a few years now, so the chance to join an established and reputable company like Redcote Leisure was an opportunity not to be missed. We are proud to be opening the first established branch in the North, which we are sure will also be welcomed by the nationwide followers of the Redcote Leisure brand.
