Induction Cooker with Low Wattage Setting

Description

INDUCTION COOKER WITH LOW WATTAGE SETTING

An energy and cost saving induction hob featuring a timer and 9 power settings from 300W-2000W. Ideal for low wattage cooking in your Micro Camper

Benefits of using an Induction Hob:

Greener choice. An induction hob is 90% efficient compared to gas hobs (approximately 55% efficient) and traditional electric hobs (65%).

Safety. As the cooking surface stays cool and there are no naked flames or exposed elements, there’s less chance of burning yourself (please be aware that the surface may still get warm as heat will radiate out from the pan you are using).

Easy to clean. If the pan accidentally boils over or you spill something onto the hob surface it won’t burn as the surface doesn’t get hot – just give it a quick wipe over with a damp cloth.

Faster. Thanks to the induction process an induction hob is up to 50% faster than conventional hobs, boiling 2 pints of water in just a couple of minutes.

Higher temperatures. Induction hobs are capable of reaching much higher temperatures than conventional hobs. Great for searing meat, but be aware when you are using non-stick pans as you could damage the surface if they get too hot.

Greater control. Turning the heat up or down will result in almost instantaneous results on what you are cooking. No more second-guessing or pre-empting the correct temperature for a rolling boil like you have to do on an electric hob.

Heats what you are cooking, not the kitchen. You’ll find your kitchen won’t heat up in the same way it would when using a conventional hob (this might not be such a benefit if you have a cold kitchen!)

Lower utility bills. An induction hob may be more expensive to buy than a gas or electric hob, but because it’s faster and more efficient, you’ll be saving money on your utility bills.

Customer Reviews

We had lots of questions when we came to look at the micro-campers and Jason couldn't have been more helpful! He provided an excellent service (alongside his excellent conversions) and we have loved every moment of becoming micro-camper owners. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Redcote Leisure – and indeed have already done so to several of our friends!

My husband has always loved camping, I have always said I would hate it. We couldn't afford the 30 grand for a 10 year old VW camper. So when he showed me the details of a Redcote day/micro van I was persuaded to go and have a look. What a revelation! Jason showed us the various beautifully kitted out vans with no hard sell or pressure to buy, it was obvious he knew his stuff and loved the vans. We bought one straight away. We have had days out cooking on the little stove and sitting in the back at the table. We also bought the awning, which is really a little tent that fits neatly on the back of the van. We have been camping over night, what could be better – the room of the little tent to sit/eat in and then climbing up to sleep in the comfy double bed in the back of the van. It is perfect and we love it and would recommend Redcote Leisure

Jackie

We are happy to recommend this place. Jason is very knowledgeable about his product, and was able to talk us novices through what we needed to know. When there were a couple of unforseen glitches, these were sorted out quickly and in a friendly and professional manner. A pleasure to deal with him, and we would not hesitate to do so again. We have now had a couple of brilliant excursions in our camper…one a local try out, the other a 1400 mile 5 day trip to the far side of Germany, taking in 5 countries in total and finishing up at an excellent campsite in Belgium. The camper did everything required and we had a brilliant trip.
