The Kampa Roam Low poled driveaway awning is a lightweight, practical awning designed specifically for campervans, offering amazing price to performance with a traditional pole structure. Combining modern materials with a spacious, well-ventilated layout, it provides comfortable living space for touring campers who value simplicity, flexibility, and excellent value.

The Roam Low is constructed from 75D polyester fabric, a lightweight and easy-to-handle material ideal for regular touring. This fabric offers dependable weather resistance while packing down compactly for easy storage. Its low weight makes pitching and pack-away straightforward, while a sewn-in groundsheet helps keep the interior clean, dry, and draught-free for improved comfort in varying conditions.

The Roam Low uses a fibreglass pole structure, lightweight yet providing a strong and flexible frame that performs well in changing weather. Pre-angled poles are designed to maximise internal headroom and usable living space, while reinforced pole sleeves at critical stress points improve long-term durability. Thick guy lines add stability, and optional storm straps can be fitted for additional tension in windy conditions.

Externally, the Roam Low features a full-width front canopy that provides extra shelter from the sun and rain. Large crystal-clear PVC windows on either side allow plenty of natural light, with fully removable window panels for maximum airflow. The front door includes a full-size mesh panel, and door toggles allow it to be securely tied back, ideal for ventilation. A drop-down, trip-free entrance ensures easy access. A centralised tunnel door and side doors on both sides of the tunnel allow convenient access between the awning and vehicle.

Attachment to the van is flexible using throw-over guy lines, clamp and pole, or dual beading (4mm and 6mm). A webbing strap at the van connection point helps create a snug fit.

Inside, the Roam Low offers a bright and comfortable space with soft-touch toggle curtains for adjustable privacy and a ventilation point above the front door to help reduce condensation. Practical additions include a lantern hanging point, Velcro tabs for securing cables or accessories, and a cable entry point for electric hook-up. The awning can also be expanded with an optional bedroom annexe, which can be attached to either side without compromising the main living area. Optional carpet and footprint are available to enhance comfort and protect the groundsheet.
